Micco Homeowner's Association

It is very important that I let you know I am writing this on my own motivation. I have not been asked by the board and I have not approached the board about doing this. I have acted on my own desire to see the Micco Homeowner's Association become even better.

I am a member of the MHOA. I am also a board member. I know we need volunteers. The MHOA has a few members that take on many responsibilities (I wish I could say I am a part of the aforementioned, but I am not.) As a board member I have discovered there are many areas the few members could use your help. The flea market, preparing and serving food and refreshments at our meetings, planning, and officers are only a few things we need your assistance.

The MHOA is going to have 2006 elections for officers at our next meeting. MHOA needs all members to attend to cast a vote. If you are not a member I, Paul Jones, urge you to become a member.

Mr. Jones,
I am new to the area but I may be able to help in some areas.
I am the Property Manager for Pelican Bay Manufactured Home Community here in Micco. ( formerly riverview mobile villa ) As you may have noticed, we are doing a lot of landscaping and improvements to the area along US 1.
We also will be building a new clubhouse for the residents of our community. I have scheduled a ground breaking ceremony for March 25 at our property.
Does Micco have any elected officials that would be interested in mingling with our residents and possibly address the residents with a short speech ?
Any info will be appreciated.
